Fall is...

coming! As a child it was probably my least favorite time of year, but as an adult who appreciates the finer things in life, it is becoming my favorite.

Deep oranges, shimmering golds, and dirty reds appear.
Pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and Honeycrisp apples.
Long sleeved t-shirts, jeans, and hoodies.
Football...college football...Longhorn football!
ESPN Game Day, Kirk Herbstreet, Lee Corso.
Banana bread, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie dip.
Cool mornings lend themselves to a hot cup of coffee...not an iced glass of coffee!
Goldeny-orange, red, and brown toenail polish.
The wood-burning smell of someone's fireplace at night.
Turning off the A/C--gasp!
Cuddling on the couch with my favorite boys...and a blanket!

Can you tell I'm ready? I even pulled out my fall tubs to decorate last weekend thinking the first day of fall was Tuesday. It wasn't until the following Tuesday, so I waited...rather impatiently. I woke this morning at 7:00 and put out my pumpkins, leaves, acorns, etc. Here comes Fall!
